Alena Vavilina (b. 1986)
AV Art, also known as Alena Vavilina, is a Russian-born artist who grew up in Moscow and was exposed to art from an early age. She graduated from the School of Academic Art in Moscow but has since developed her own unique styleinspired by nature and other cultures. Her mixed media works are known for their layering, texture, and unique style. Vincent Van Gogh is a key source of inspiration for Alena, and his quote “I dream my painting and then I paint my dream” represents the verbal expression of her work. Her paintings can be found in private collections around the world, and exhibited in various locations such as Dubai, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and Europe. Alena represented the Russian Federation Embassy at ther Art Expo Malaysia and is a member of AISBL Art Espaces in Brussels, Belgium, and the Asian Art Association.
The artist currently lives and works in Dubai, UAE.
