Shivani Mehra, a self-taught artist, discovered her creative spark while growing up amidst the breathtaking beauty of Kashmir. However, circumstances forced her and her family to leave their homeland at the tender age of 16. Drawing from the depths of her memories, Shivani finds inspiration from her cherished childhood experiences, communicating them through the language of art. Her preferred medium is oils on canvas, allowing her to capture the essence of her visions. Each stroke on the canvas reflects her longing for the lost paradise and showcases the emotional journey she embarked upon. Shivani’s art serves as a poignant reminder of the power of memory and the ability of art to transcend physical boundaries.
