Sopan Kshirsagar (b. 1983)
Sopan Kshirsagar, born in Pune, Maharashtra, is a seasoned artist with over 16 years of experience. A graduate in Drawing and Painting from Abhinav Kala Mahavidyalaya, Pune, he also holds a Diploma in Art Education. His spiritually inspired work reflects the meditative energy through vibrant color harmonies and expressive forms. Known for his large-scale portraits—often 4×4 feet—Sopan captures the soulful essence of indigenous people, with a distinct focus on the eyes as windows to shared humanity. His deep observation and emotional insight lend beauty and light to every face he paints. He has exhibited widely across India and once sold 70 paintings in a single showing in Mumbai and Pune.
