Stéphane Cipre (b. 1968)
Stéphane Cipre, a Paris-born artist based in Nice, began his career in 1997 after studying Fine Arts. Transitioning from academic figuration to a bold, graphic style, he found breakthrough by integrating text into his work, exploring the link between word and meaning. His sculptures critique globalization and champion local commerce, transforming art into a commentary on consumerism. Working both digitally and in-studio, Stéphane blurs boundaries between message and medium. His thought-provoking pieces are held in prestigious private collections and foundations worldwide.
