Manjunath Kamath is a contemporary Indian artist known for his richly layered works in painting, drawing, digital collage, and terracotta sculpture. Kamath explores the migration of iconography and the distortions of time, creating jigsaw-like surfaces that invite imaginative reconstruction. Beneath his playful style lies a deeper inquiry into cultural interconnectedness. Born in Mangalore in 1972, he studied in Mysore and Cardiff, and has exhibited internationally. His work is part of major collections including LACMA, The Art Institute of Chicago, and the Kiran Nadar Museum of Art.The artist lives and works in New Delhi, India.
