Sarla Chandra is a celebrated artist whose work draws deeply from nature, mythology, and spiritual traditions. Her themes explore sacred art inspired by Indian epics and scriptures, with acclaimed series such as Ashwatha – The Tree of Life and Panchtatva – The Five Elements. Sarla’s innovative use of mediums—from gold and silver foil to repousse on copper—revives ancient techniques with contemporary resonance. Her works are part of prestigious collections, including the Museum of Sacred Art (Brussels), MAP Bangalore, and Salarjung Museum.
